What is Audio Merger?

An audio merger joins two or more sound files into one continuous track. Because source files often differ in format, sample rate, or channel count, this tool first normalizes each clip on your device and then joins them seamlessly with FFmpeg. Add files, drag them into order, and download a single MP3. Nothing is uploaded at any point.

Frequently asked questions

Can I merge files of different formats?+

Yes. Each clip is converted to a common format on your device before joining, so an MP3, a WAV, and an M4A can be merged into one track without errors.

Is there a limit to how many files I can merge?+

No fixed limit. Every clip must fit in your browser's memory during processing, which comfortably allows dozens of typical audio files.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?+

No. The entire merge runs in your browser with FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. Your audio never leaves your device.

Will there be gaps or clicks between clips?+

The clips are joined back to back with no added silence. If a source clip itself starts or ends with silence, use the Silence Remover tool on it first.

What format is the merged file?+

A high-quality MP3 (192 kbps), which plays on effectively every device and keeps the merged file reasonably small.
